The Business and personal property return forms will be mailed by January 1, 2026. The forms should be filled out and returned to our office by April 1, 2026. Even if you do not have the property anymore( boats,aircraft, ect) the form needs to be filed with us to have the correct information for billing later. Taxscribe is a good online return option. The information about Taxscribe is mailed with the return form.

The Assessor's Office evaluates the full value of properties based on the current market. This is a yearly process concerning residential and commercial properties as well as personal property such as business equipment, boats, and aircraft.
You are taxed based on 40% of the fair market value as of Jan. 1st. Each year, the department compiles a digest of the county's valuations. You may view this information here.
